For a second there, I thought I was watching Allistair vs Badr Hari.
Then I was waiting for the “What colour is your peeeee?”
And Affliction advertised on Elite’s big TV gig even pimping out some fighters, so would it be so far fetched to think that Strikeforce would use both DREAM and Affliction to round out their HW roster?
Coker’s 3 year deal with Showtime calls for up to 16 events per year. And their CBS deal is for up to four events.
That demands a bigger roster but a more flexible one too.
Everything you read about Coker and the esteem people in the Calif. martial arts community have for him makes me think that this could work out a tad better than the time someone left Jared Shaw in charge of a big TV deal.
(Gary Shaw was in Montreal recently and was cast as a ‘living legend of boxing’ by the media)

Great interview and great site. I liked your work at MMA Rated, so it is good to see you able to do more stuff here (and at Versus).
